Hello and welcome to the first of many blogs from the DF Blog.

You might be asking what's DF and what's a blog? Well for those not familiar with either term, DF is our company's nickname for DistinctiveFabric.com and a blog is (according to Wikipedia - which you'll see us linking to often here to help explain certain terminology or processes):

"...a user-generated website where entries are made in journal style and displayed in a reverse chronological order."

Words will often be highlighted as you see here above because they're linking to other sites of noteworthy interest. Feel free to explore them and return at your leisure. You can stay up-to-date with new posts here by clicking the orange and white RSS Feed button at bottom left of the main blog page. We'll also be sure to mention anything of interest or functionality change to this blog (or the site in general) through our regular, monthly newsletter. One of the many reasons we've put a blog section up on our site is to better connect with you our customer. We want to be more involved with you and you us, so this is just the first step of many to come in which we provide the opportunity to communicate a little more intimately about what we do here, why, how, etc. and for you in turn, to respond and make your own voice heard (sorry but only by comments, for now). While we do our best to keep a pulse on how our service and products are received and perceived, we feel it's important to do so in a less corporate way.

So hopefully this medium will do just that. We're certainly confident that it will and we welcome your comments about anything we post here and our company in general. We would please ask that you not abuse this medium and for now, comments will be monitored to insure that nothing is said off-color, we have a very wide audience coming to our site and wish not to offend anyone.
