New Fabrics & Our Current Fabric Selection

Submitted by Jedi Wright on February 26, 2007 - 18:10.

Welcome to another DistinctiveFabric.com blog. In this post, we're focusing on that which matters most: fabric!

As some of you have noticed and commented on over the last few months, we have been moving a number of fabrics out of our regular line to either clearance, remnants or out of stock completely.

We just wanted to clarify this issue as some were very concerned about our future of operations. Not to worry! We're just clearing out some of the less popular items for some more in-demand fabrics like our new:

Lycra Spandex for $10/yd and currently available in three colors. Also requested was this super fun version of Terry Cloth, called Sherpa, for $14/yd. Many other new fabrics planned for the spring, please check back here regularly.

As for the overall selection of fabrics on our site, we generally choose to focus on what's most popularly requested by our regular customers, though we are always open to suggestions. That being said, we have always specialized in more hard-to-find costume and do-it-yourself fabrics like Velveteen for gaming tables, Shag fur for costumes and real, 100% Silk for many unique applications.

Anyway, as stated earlier, we have much in store for the coming months including some sustainable fabrics. So feel free to check and see what's in store and as always, if you have any requests, please don't hesitate to submit them.

Fishnet with variant icons?

What kind of fishnets are we talking about? With "the fish" icons, or without "the fish" icons? I hear they come with actual "fish" icons (along with crustateans). John Landry of Louisiana landry6541@bellsouth.net
